The Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) in Sacramento is hiring a Student Assistant to assist staff in updating, uploading, and maintaining electronic documents and correspondence on the department’s website, share point site, and other locations. The Student Assistant will assist professional staff with the following duties:
  • Assisting the public, answering phones, processing mail, data entry, filing, collect/log incoming inquiries via phone/email, and maintenance of records.
  • Assist in developing web content and remediate documents for AB 434 compliance.
  • Collect and log incoming notifications in Microsoft Access for PV modules handlers/recyclers.
  • Archiving, cataloging, organizing, and tracking departmental historical documents.
  • Perform other assignments as required.
